Samsung officially announced the budget phone Galaxy J2 for Indian users at the cost of Rs. 8,490.
Since it is the fourth member of Samsung’s “J” series and also a good commitment to the campaign ‘Make in India’ and ‘Make for India’.
The Galaxy J2 sports a QHD display of 4.7” with the resolution of 540 x 960 pixels with a pixel density of 245 ppi, RAM of 1GB, internal storage capacity of 8GB and it can be further expanded via microSD card. The dimension of the device is 136 x 69 x 8.3 mm.
The device is powered by Exynos 3475 quad-core processor at 1.3GHz and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop based TouchWiz UI.
The camera section of the device includes a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a front-facing camera of 2MP.
It is a dual-SIM smartphone which supports Bluetooth, Wifi, GPS, microUSB 2.0 and 4G-LTE connectivity.
It equips a battery of 2000mAh. The device also comes with a new feature called “Ultra Data Saving Mode” that would help the users to save up to 50% of data and doubles the standby time of the device.
It will be available for the users from 21st September, 2015 in different variants like Black, White.
The users of other countries will also get the device in coming days.
