As we know the Blackphone was launched in January, 2014. It is the first smartphone in the world which provides security over user’s privacy.
The successor of Blackphone, namely Blackphone 2 which was announced in MWC,2015 is now available to the US users.
The device sports a Full HD display of 5.5” with the resolutions of 1080pixels and safely protected by Gorilla Glass 3, RAM of 3GB and expandable internal storage capacity of 32GB. It also features microSD card slot and LTE connectivity.
It is powered by a Snapdragon SoC chipset with 1.7GHz octa-core processor and runs on Android-based Silent OS.
The camera section of the device includes a rear camera of 13MP and front-facing camera of 5MP.
The device is powered by a battery of 3060 mAh , which offers Quick Charge 2.0.
The users can get the device Blackphone 2 via Silent Circle’s website at the cost of $799. There is no information about its availability for the global users yet.
