As we know that previous month the Zenfone Selfie (ZD551KL) smartphone has been announced by Asus at Computex 2015 Conference held in Taiwan which is the company’s first smartphone to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon processor instead of Intel Atom processors.
Now the Asus Zenfone Selfie (ZD551KL) smartphone has been launched in India. The price of the phone is Rs.15,999.
The smartphone has a a 5.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass 4 coating instead of Gorilla 3 that protects the Zenfone 2 and is powered by Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor. It comes with dual SIM dual standby support and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop based ZenUI.
In the rear side of the Zenfone Selfies it has a 13-megapixel camera which features dual-tone flash, laser autofocus, f/2.0 aperture and full HD (1080p) video recording and in the front side of the device it also comes with the 13-megapixel camera which also features dual-tone flash as well, f/2.2 aperture, 88-degree field of view and full HD (1080p) video recording.
The device is available in two different variants. One version has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of Internal storage and the second variant has 3GB of RAM with doubled internal storage of 32GB and also features a microSD card slot with a maximum of 128GB support and a 3000 mAh Li-Polymer battery.
Connectivity wise the device features 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB 2.0. The dimensions of both the variants are 156.5 x 77.2 x 10.8 mm and weighs 170 grams. The device is available in Pure White, Chic Pink and Aqua Blue colors. The price of the 2GB RAM version is Rs.15,999 where as the price of the 3GB RAM version has not been mentioned by the company.
