Huawei finally announced its latest low-end device Honor 4A in a press conference in China.
Huawei Honor 4A features a display of 5” with the resolution of 720pixels, internal storage capacity of 8GB, dual-SIM functionality, 2GB of RAM; it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 chipset and sports a 1.1 GHz quad-core processor. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Huawei’s Emotion UI 3.1 on top.
The camera section of the device includes a rear camera of 8 MP and front-facing camera of 2 MP. It is powered by the battery of 2200mAh.
It is expected that the Honor 4A with 3G variation will be available at the cost of CNY 599 ($96) and the users will get the other 4G LTE version of the device at CNY 699 ($112).
Hence due to low cost both the versions of the device Huawei Honor 4A will definitely be the strong contender to the Xiaomi’s smartphones of Redmi series.
There is still uncertainty about the launching of Honor 4A away from home land China.
